# Authentication

> Getting started using the API

All requests to the API must be authenticated. This is done by passing a bearer token in the `Authorization` header.

You can obtain an API token by logging into the [Swift Proxy Reseller Panel](https://swiftproxy.io/resellerDashboard/profile) and navigating to the profile section.
